Hi, I'm Joe

and this is the story of Wilson... my VW bus. I’m just a regular guy here in central NJ with a background in broadcasting and technology, and a love for all things mechanical, automotive and historical.  Back in the early spring of 2021, I began a serious inquiry into purchasing a VW bus. I had a few criteria:

1. 1. It had to be a split window bus, so ‘67 and earlier.

   2. Safari windows were a must.

   3. I really wanted a walk-through bus.

   4. A camper bus was preferred. 

We had just celebrated the arrival of my first grandchild, and I thought that a VW bus would be the perfect classic vehicle for the entire family to enjoy together.  I found this '67 VW bus pictured here, and have enjoyed putting Wilson back on the road since.
